Pancake Day- My Way

Saturday morning is always "Pancake Day" around here. John is usually the one to get up early and get breakfast going. He's much more of a morning person than I will ever be. However with him being gone this weekend and Nick off at Scout Camp, I was not let off the hook from making a real breakfast.

Since the gender division turning in favor of the girls this weekend (actually it was 2 boys, and 2 girls, but Christopher doesn't count) I decided that the girls won 2 to 1, and so I made Daisy pancakes. I have the cutest pancake pan that I love, and never gets used because John is the one doing it (not really complaining here, just stating a fact) and the daisies take a little extra finesse, and take a little extra time.

If I had planned ahead, I would have gone to the store and bought fruit to garnish the plates for that extra girly touch, but we just have to make do with blueberry syrup.
